DRAFT STARTUP:
With the new drafting rules started in 2014, the draft will start much earlier, about three weeks before the NBA season starts.  Upon conclusion of the Contract Deadline, the setup for the draft will take about two hours and I will text the first person to make their selection.

DRAFT RULES:
When you receive notification that the previous person has picked you have a two hour grace period before your clock starts running down.  In basketball you will get a 25 cumulative hour (after grace time) period to make your picks.  When it is your turn you simply go into the "Players" tab on the Fantrax page and pick an available player you want.  When your turn is complete you must notify the next person so we can keep the draft moving at a decent pace.  Failure to do so will deduct time from you for however long it takes the next person.  The goal is 12 draft picks a day.

As for trading, anything goes at this point.  You can trade players, draft picks and/or free agent cash.  Pre-draft Draft Pick Trading however must have an equal number of picks traded on each side and the number of players will not matter.  Just remember when trading players and picks before hand that you may restrict yourself with how many players you can keep.  For example: You trade for a SG and a 11th Round Pick for your partner's 12th Round Pick, you can no longer contract more than 10 players since you have traded your 11th Rounder away.

Mid-draft trading is a little different.  At this point you will have to trade for an equal number of players & picks on each side.  For example: You trade for a SG and a 11th Round Pick for your partner's 12th & 14th Round Picks.  For each trade you will have to notify a League Commissioner on what picks and cash you are trading.

DRAFT TABLE:

Understanding the draft table is key.  I will update this as much as possible in order to keep everything moving as quick as possible.  The name at the top indicates of course who is on the clock, and with my latest update will indicate how much time is remaining.  The due up is below there for the next four picks.  You get further than that, you will be able to scroll down on the draft page and it will show the precise order there.

The green section now will indicate the first 7 rounds where the best players will be available.  The red of course for those not so much.
