I finished the "From the Commish" section Sunday afternoon while I was just hanging out.  This part I am hastily posting just because I want to go to bed.  Enjoy at least the other parts of this....

FROM THE COMMISH THIS WEEK'S RECORDS

Record High & Record Low:
Eight Years ago, back in 2011.  A guy by the name of Tito June became the 2nd member of the 500 Point Club.  Long since removed from the league for doing his military service his record score of 513½ still holds (he may eventually return to the league but is now stationed in Antarctica).  We have since added four other members to the 500 Point Club but no one has had more than 505 points.

The ultimate record low is held by a Good member of our league.  Jordan scored an incredible -17 for an entire week back in the opening week of 2015.  I believe that was the week Ian Desmond had like 10 errors for -50 points and his pitchers did mediocre at best. Though a fun fact about this, he managed to outscore four other teams in the league for the year back then despite the insanely slow start.

So my point to this statement is, will either record ever be beaten again?  Shon, Kyle & a few other teams have the potential to break the record high.  My team seems primed to contend with the record low (right now).  Or will these records just be untouchable?  I'm not sure personally but I believe this will not change after this year.  The salaries of the super teams will start to catch up.  In that regard I think Brad and Jason will be the top contenders for the coming years for the record highs.
