DRAFT STARTUP:
With the new drafting rules started in 2014, the draft will start much earlier, about three weeks before the MLB season starts.  Upon conclusion of the Contract Deadline, the draft board will be set and the ensuing draft will start the following day.

DRAFT RULES:
When you receive notification that the previous person has picked you have twelve hours to select your player.  This is a slow draft but please don't take all of the time allotted so we don't get into the regular season.  Now that we do this on Fantrax solely starting in 2019, the next team should receive a notification automatically, but that doesn't always work.  So we will maintain the rule of sending a text to the next person.

You can trade players & draft picks.  Pre-draft Draft Pick Trading however must have an equal number of picks traded on each side and the number of players will not matter.  Just remember when trading players and picks before hand that you may restrict yourself with how many players you can keep.  For example: You trade for a 1B and a 16th Round Pick for your partner's 12th Round Pick, you can no longer keep more than 15 players since you have traded your 16th Rounder away.

Mid-draft trading is a little different.  At this point you will have to trade for an equal number of players & picks on each side.  For example: You trade for a 1B and a 16th Round Pick for your partner's 12th & 14th Round Picks.  For each trade you will have to notify a League Commissioner on what picks and cash you are trading.

DRAFT TABLE:
The Fantrax Draft Board is found in the draft room now as well and no longer will be parrelled on this site.
